Her Life so Far
Holly Marie Combs was born on the 3rd of December, 1973, in San Diego.
Her mother, Lauralei Combs was only fifteen when her daughter came into the world.
Eight years later found
both mother and daughter in New York, where Lauralei pursued a career in acting and singing and Holly was enrolled in
the Professional Children's School. Within two years, Holly began appearing in print work and television commercials, and,
by the age of twelve, appeared in Walls of Glass with her mother. But Holly's life was not all glitz & glamour by
any means. When she thinks back upon her younger times, she remembers herself as a troubled child, mean to her mother, often
punished by teachers. They moved around a lot, she and Lauralei, who on appearances some thought to be her sister. One house,
she recalls, was so cramped that the only quiet place was the bathroom. At fifteen she got her first tattoo.
Still living in New York, at eighteen she landed her first major
role. David E. Kelly was looking for someone to play Tom Skeritt's daughter on Picket Fences. He passed her over, because
he said he was looking for someone with heart. "Then why the hell are you looking in New York?" she spat back at him. He hired
her. He sensed conviction to her career.
Over The years Holly has been in many movies Including,Sweet Harts
Dance, Love's Deadly Triangle: The Texas Cadet Murder,Our Mothers Murder to name a few But Holly is Best Known today for her
roll as the witchy Piper Halliwell on the WB's Charmed.
Most recently, on February14,2004 ,Valentines Day, Holly married her long-time boyfriend David Donoho, in
a beautiful but simple wedding. . Holly also gave birth to her first child - Finley Arthur Donaho, on the 26th of April (2004).
With Charmed in it's 7th and possibly last season, The future and it's possibilities seem
very bright for Holly Marie Combs..
